LiONiL: Library Instruction Online for Information Literacy

Locating journals in Kraemer Family Library

If you want to search for a journal, magazine, or newspaper at Kraemer Library, you can easily do so from the library home page.

For this exercise, toggle between screens using the tabs at the top of your browser.

Open the Kraemer Library homepage.

2. Click on the link, Journal Search, enter the journal title Child Development in the search box, and click on the search button.

The screen that appears will identify electronic and print holdings that are available through the library. The electronic holdings can be accessed by clicking on the name of the database that provides coverage for the journal. In this case several databases provide coverage. Read the dates of coverage carefully. They may vary from one database to another.

Which database would you select to find the most recent issue of Child Development?
