Interpreting search results in Academic Search Premier - detailed record

The detailed record provides all the information in the brief record in an easier-to-read format. It also contains more detail that will help you learn more about the article including:

1. Title of article
2. Source is the name of the journal inwhich the article followed by the date, volume, issue, and pagination.
3. The abstract is a short summary of the article contents, usually written by the author or publisher.
4. Tells you what organization with whom the author is affiliated.

To the left of the detailed record you will again see links for locating the full-text of the article.

1. If the article is available in the database, simpley click on the PDF link.
2. If the article in NOT available in the database you would click on this link to find it.
